Can I use the Marketing Guidebook with Market Scope? [Back to top]
Yes, now that Market Scope presents its data by Marketing Guidebook definition, both resources can be used to gain a more complete understanding of a given market or company. Some figures may be slightly different, since they are created at different points in the year (the data in Marketing Guidebook comes from a report generated in June, the data in Market Scope from a report run in November).

How is Marketing Guidebook better than other directories? [Back to top]
We can't speak for anyone else's research, but we can tell you that our directories have an excellent reputation for accuracy and usefulness. Each year we verify or update each profile through direct company contact, and throughout the year we track the industry through the Internet, trade journals and other sources. In addition, we have a resource that no other directory has, the Trade Dimensions Retail Site Database, which has information on every individual supermarket location in the US.

Does Marketing Guidebook give me the address of each store? [Back to top]
No, the Guidebook presents the market from a company headquarters and division point of view. We do track individual store locations though and can provide that information in special reports. For more information of these special reports, please call Trade Dimensions sales (203-222-5728).

Is Marketing Guidebook available on CD? [Back to top]
Yes. We produce two different versions – Read-Only and Exportable. Free demos are available.

What's the difference between the Read-Only CD and the Exportable CD? [Back to top]
The Read-Only CD is merely an electronic version of the book with very limited capabilities while the Exportable CD allows you to do more than both the book and Read-Only CD. With the Exportable CD you are able to do various searches by location, number of stores, etc. You are also able to export information to create mailing labels and perform mail merges as well as export company information to perform your own analysis.

Is it available over the Internet? [Back to top]
No we are not offering the Marketing Guidebook online at this time.
